Thanks from Banda Aceh - 30 Jan 2005

SEED Ministries was able to assist an Indonesian organisation as they setup their relief headquarters in Bandah Aceh We received a note of thanks. Here is an excerpt from the note. Our base is in West Java but recently we have been heavily involved in relief work in the Tsunami devastated province of Aceh in North Sumatra. One of our biggest problems of course has been communications. We have had to hastily establish an office which is situated in Banda Aceh. There are often power outages rendering our desktop useless. Your provision of the two compact laptops has been a real blessing. As we are often working in remote areas the compact size of the laptops is especially beneficial. Last night we reconfigured them and loaded them with all the relevant software to enable us to email and carryout basic office requirements. Thank you so much again for your generosity
