God’s Favour In Nagaland (5 - 12 March 2007)

Praise the Lord! Our mission began with adventure at Changi airport itself when Sis Nettie Yeo's hand luggage went missing. After a hectic search and "desperate prayer", it was found five minutes before our aircraft took off!! Praise the Lord. The luggage contains all the notes and teaching material for the children's ministry. Hmmmm....sounds familiar. SEED’s team of four comprised Eleanor Yeo, Richard Tay, Nettie Yeo and Allan Chan.

Burma 'orders Christians to be wiped out'

By Peter Pattisson in Kayin State, southern Burma, Sunday Telegraph The military regime in Burma is intent on wiping out Christianity in the country, according to claims in a secret document believed to have been leaked from a government ministry. Entitled "Programme to destroy the Christian religion in Burma", the incendiary memo contains point by point instructions on how to drive Christians out of the state.

Thailand Vision Trip with Wellington Elim (27 Dec 06 - 12 Jan 07)

Praise God! What better way to start than to give God the credit for all that went on during this trip. As you read about the things we got up to, and as we think back on the significance of what we were doing on the lives of the people we ministered with, we can only arrive at the conclusion that it had little to do with us.

14th Mission of Mercy to Karen Refugees (23 Nov - 5 Dec 2006)

From 23 Nov to 5 Dec 2006, we conducted our 14th annual Mission of Mercy to the Karen refugee camps along the Thai-Myanmar border. Yes, it has been 14 years that we have persevered to encourage and strengthen our Karen brethren with both spiritual and material aid. We are reminded of Gal. 6:9 & 10, "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith."

AWESOME HIMALAYAS!! (9 - 27 Oct 2006)

It was an AWESOME 18 days in NE India and the Himalayas!! Our team of five from Singapore went expecting that much would be required of us...and much was demanded - both spiritually and physically. We acknowledge the prayerful support every one of you provided as the team engaged the "enemy" head-on, especially in Bhutan and Nepal, the very seats of Satan's deception in the form of Buddhism and Hinduism. At OTS (Oriental Theological Seminary) - this is the premier Bible seminary in NE India - we had a great time of ministry among the students and faculty...

SEED Mission in Nagaland (2 - 14 Feb 2006)

Thank you, one and all, for upholding our team which recently ministered in Nagaland - we faced many obstacles, but God's will and purposes prevailed, and it turned out to be another awesome mission - Hallelujah. GREAT AND EFFECTUAL DOORS WERE OPENED and the Lord provided opportunities for ministry to previously "difficult to access" people.

Karen Mercy Mission. (20 Nov - 4 Dec 2005)

SEED Singapore will once again be sending a team up to the Karen Refugee camps to minister among our brethren there. The Karen have been exiled from their own land by the Burmese military junta. The largest camp along the Thai-Burma border houses over 45,000 refugees in an area originally intended for 5000. Conditions are over-crowded and squalid.

2005 SEED Conference Report - "This is what our faith is about..."

"It's been a long time since my spirit was so stirred at a mission conference. This is what our faith is all about - reaching out to our brothers and sisters out there where they lay their lives on the line for believing in Jesus, and we stand with them in fulfilling the Great Commission. I'm so glad someone still has the pure vision of Christ for the lost, and not just another project or program." This remark by a veteran missionary of more than 50 years sums it all up for our 2nd SEED Conference, held at Fort Canning Lodge YWCA, Singapore.
